"A wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government."      Thomas Jefferson

My fellow Hoosiers,
I am not a career politician.  I am not a politician, period.  I have never held an elected office.  I am an average citizen with common sense that has become fed up with politicians playing "politics as usual."  I find it disappointing that the people in elected office are not necessarily the best people, but rather the best "campaigners."  Like everyone else across this great country I have seen the waste, fraud, and corruption by those WE have put in office.  And like others, I have many times said, "But there is nothing I can do."   I am tired of doing nothing.
If I am elected I will be a voice of reason and common sense.  The solution to Indiana's budget deficit is NOT higher taxes.  The solution is to cut government spending.  Between income taxes, property taxes, excise taxes, sales tax, and numerous "hidden" taxes, Indiana residents are currently spending approximately 50% of their income on taxes of one sort or another.  I promise that on every issue, every time, I will vote against anything that will make government bigger, more expensive, or more intrusive.

If you agree that it is time to get politicians out of politics vote for me for Indiana Senate.

Sincerely,

"It's time to get the politicians out of politics"
